What is LIMES?

 LIMES = List, Include, Modify, Exclude and Spin It's my little checklist to help you create your own inspired card without directly copying! It's perfect when you don't have the exact supplies used in the inspiration or you just want to use the inspiration as a jumping off point!

How to use it? Whenever you’re inspired or whatever you’re inspired by - someone else’s card, a photo, a piece of art, a piece of clothing, maybe even one of your own previously made cards - anything you like!

• Start by LISTing the Colours, Techniques (if applicable) and Elements of your inspiration

• Decide which items you’ll INCLUDE in your card - your favourite parts of the inspiration!

• Decide which items you’ll MODIFY - change the techniques used, the occasion, the colours, reduce or increase the number of images that are on the original, change the layout - use your imagination!

• Decide which items you’ll EXCLUDE - maybe you don’t like one of the colours or you just want a cleaner look!

• Add your own SPIN - this can be your signature style or finishing touch.
