What is an Ardyth Square card?

Ardyth Square cards are 4.25” square cards. They’re cute, they’re modern, and they’re my favourite size card to make! I’ve been making them since way, way back in 2012, but I’ve always enjoyed creating other sizes as well.

Why?!

• Haha! I love the symmetry of a square. I think the square is modern looking and a little unexpected.

• You can get 2 full card bases from a letter-sized piece of cardstock, with a 2.5×8.5 inch leftover strip you can use for die cut sentiments!

• The name Ardyth Square was coined by the daughter of a Craft Roulette participant early in 2026.

What envelopes do you use?

I use regular A2 envelopes to mail my Ardyth Square cards. If you find an Ardyth Square too small, you could make a 5” square card and mail it in a 5×7 envelope.

Are there challenges working with an Ardyth Square card?

• Some products are designed for larger spaces. My biggest challenges are some sentiment dies, or certain stencil patterns.

• Sometimes I have to adapt measurements for fun folds I want to try.

• Some people don’t like the card sliding in the rectangular envelope.
