LIMES - Happy Birthday

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, red, green, grey) , Techniques (stamping, die cutting) , Elements (patterned background, red flower with grey centre, green stem and leaves, grey scalloped embellishment, die cut butterfly, hello sentiment)

INCLUDE:‍ stamping, die cutting, patterned background, red flower with grey centre, grey scallops

MODIFY: background is stenciled, flower is die cut, red is more pink, green included as a frame, rather than leaf and stems, grey scallop along full left side, birthday instead of hello

EXCLUDE: butterfly

Julie has always been an inspiration to me, and I loved seeing how far back her gallery goes! I used a stencil turning technique to create my background, and reduced the white space, and added the green as a frame.
