I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (turquoise, purply/pink, black, white) , Techniques (colour lift technique with a stencil) , Elements (geometric stenciled panel, black thank you sentiment, black embellishments)

INCLUDE: turquoise, colour lift technique with a stencil, black thank you sentiment,

MODIFY: different purple colour, added green, smaller stenciled panel with inset die cut sentiment, added gems to my black embellishments

SPIN: square card and inset die cut sentiment

I think Laura Murcott (meerkatmakesbyl) is one of the most under-rated card makers of our time. Her talent is way bigger than her Instagram and YouTube followings reflect and I want to help people find her! This technique fascinated me - like Laura, I used Lisa Horton interference inks (who knew they were water-reactive), but I changed up the sentiment treatment a bit. I made one 4.25x5.5” panel and split it between 2 4.25” square cards.
