LIMES - Flower Thank You

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this layout as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, pink, yellow, green, blue, purple) , Techniques (die cutting) , Elements (half-background of folded ‘orange-peel’ with white space above, flowers, hearts, script sentiment in gold

MODIFY: made the flower larger to be the focal point, stencilled background,

SPIN: square card

Orange-peel is one of my favourite quilting patterns. I love the fresh colours from the inspiration, and the half-background fit one of my latest personal trends - I make a background panel that’s 4.25x5.5” then I cut it in half to get two 4.25” square cards with about 2/3 coverage. I finished both my cards with coordinating flower shaped dies from a stamp set.
