I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, pink, yellow, green, ) , Techniques (die cutting, ink blending, embossing, stamping) , Elements (vertical white panel with green mat over floral patterned paper background, die cut butterfly ink blended with vellum detail layer, vertical stamped sentiment)

INCLUDE: white, pink, yellow, green, die cutting, ink blending, die cut butterfly

MODIFY: stencilled background, circle focal panel, green mat around square background panel, white butterfly with blended detail layer, stamped/diecut sentiment in lower right corner

EXCLUDE: patterned paper, embossing, flowers

SPIN: square card, gold embellishments

I don’t think anyone could look at the inspiration card and not smile. Gorgeous spring colours, a riot of flowers and a beautiful butterfly! I used a geometric layering stencil set for my background, and changed the shape and proportion of my white panel and butterfly.
