Thank You Daisy

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, dark brown, pink, turquoise, green) , Techniques (die cutting) , Elements (dimensional pink daisy with dotted center layered on multiple coloured/polka dot mats on a diagonal striped background. Raffia bow on the stem/leaves, blue heart, no sentiment, copper pearl embellishments)

INCLUDE: ‍white, pink, turquoise, die cutting, dimensional pink daisy, diagonal striped background,

MODIFY: blue mat is circle, not square, and inkblended onto back panel, dimensional stripes are stamped, single dot for flower centre, added sentiment

EXCLUDE: green, stem, leaves, bow, heart, polkadots, multiple mats, embellishments

SPIN: square card

I’m all about using this new African Daisy die set from Altenew this summer, I love how the inspiration card created contrast between the organic (flower) and the graphic (stripes, dots, multiple mats). I used fewer layers and simple techniques to achieve a similar look.
