LIMES - Peace, Joy and Love

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (blue, white, navy) , Techniques (stamping, die cutting) , Elements (fun fold, snowflake patterned paper, off set/overhanging sentiment strip with scallops, die cut snowflakes and gem embellishments)

INCLUDE: blue, white, navy, stamping, die cutting,

MODIFY: stenciled background, one big die cut snowflake overhanging short front funfold card, one navy strip instead of navy mats

EXCLUDE: gems

SPIN:

The off-centre gatefold of my inspiration reminded me of the way I’ve been making cards with short front panels with designs on the back edge. I layered a snowflake stencil to create my background, and added iridescent shimmer spray for festive sparkle. My sentiment strip is a big snowflake, which breaks up that busy background a bit.
