Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!
I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:
LIST: Colours (aqua, black, white) , Techniques (embossing, stamping, die cutting) , Elements (solid embossed panel with circle focal area, matted and stamped with black. white shaped sentiment strip in lower right corner)
INCLUDE: aqua, white, die cutting, circle focal area
MODIFY: dark green instead of black, die cutting instead of stamping, Christmas trees instead of dragonflies
EXCLUDE: sentiment, embossing, black
SPIN:
I had fun using 4 colours of ink to create 3 of my own papers to make my card. I fully intended to emboss the background panel, and forgot until it was glued on the card! My dark green provides a little less contrast than the black in my inspiration and the shimmer spray gives it a more frosty, muted look.
