LIMES - Leafy Thanks

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (blue, orange, pink/red, cream, brown) , Techniques (inkblending, stamping, second generation stamping) , Elements (inkblended background, stamped field of daisies, stamped sentiment on multiple sentiment strips, ribbon)

INCLUDE: blue, orange, brown, inkblending

MODIFY: inkblending in masked area to allow for white space, leaves instead of daisies,

EXCLUDE: ribbon, second generation stamping, layered sentiment

SPIN: added a matching mat

I love the intense autumnal colours of my inspiration, but I also love white space. Instead of a full panel, I used masking so I only have a strip of colour. And it took me a couple of tries to figure that out, so I used one of the fully-inked panels to create some definition as a mat! lol!
