I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black) , Techniques (stamping, die cutting, patterned paper) , Elements (rainbow grid panel, white stitched sentiment strip with stamped birthday sentiment)

INCLUDE:‍ pink, yellow, green, blue, purple, die cutting, rainbow grid panel

MODIFY: watercolour and inlay die cutting instead of patterned paper, die cut sentiment, white mat instead of black and green

EXCLUDE:

SPIN: square card, scalloped edge

I love a grid, and I love the watercoloured look of the inspiration card (the one on the right), so I pulled out an old favourite (retired) coverplate die and inlaid little watercoloured squares. This card is for a very special little girl who is having a birthday this week. I added a fancy scalloped edge for a little fun.
