I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

 

LIST: Colours (aqua, pink, white, gold, ) , Techniques (stamping, embossing, die cutting) , Elements (aqua panel with distressed geometric pattern, tone on told gold embossing, 5 vertical circles)

INCLUDE: aqua, pink, white, gold, die cutting,

MODIFY: used aqua panel to create the dots, embossing folder to create texture on gold panel, die cut tone on tone sentiment, doubled up the circles, used circles to back sentiment

EXCLUDE:

SPIN: square card

The geometric pattern on my inspiration is a favourite of mine and I knew right away I would use heat embossing and an old Altenew stamp to get the look. But when I added watercolour, the effect was not what I was looking for, so I pivoted, and created my dots out of the panel instead.
