LIMES - Forget-me-not Thinking of You

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (blue, yellow, brown, lilac) , Techniques (stamping, colouring, fussy cutting) , Elements (wooden wheelbarrow of blue flowers, sentiment on top right corner)

INCLUDE: blue, yellow, brown, blue flower

MODIFY: only one large flower, on woodgrain background, sentiment underneath

EXCLUDE: lilac card base

SPIN:

The inspiration is really fun, and I changed it up to focus on what I think are the two main elements - the blue flowers and the wood of the wheelbarrow. My flower is stenciled, with careful inkblending to create dimension, and my woodgrain is created simply, by swiping two brown ink pads across the panel.
