LIMES - Christmas Tree Joy

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (green, black, white) , Techniques (embossing, die cutting, free-hand dots) , Elements (embossed green panel with black mat/scalloped edge, black floral die cut with pearl embellishments)

INCLUDE: green, white, embossing,

MODIFY: dark green instead of black, created my own ink-smooshed green background, Christmas tree instead of flowers, gold ornaments instead of pearls, die cut sentiment on embossed background.

EXCLUDE: dots

SPIN:

The inspiration card is simple and elegant but with a couple of playful details. I created my own background with watercolour cardstock and some ink smooshing. My embossing folder looks a little like snowflakes in the background and doesn’t include a sentiment (unlike the inspiration), so I added a die cut Joy.
