I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, red, black) , Techniques (stamping/colouring, embossing, fussy cutting) , Elements (big red flower with black center, dots in the background, sentiment strip underneath, black mats)

INCLUDE: big red flower with black center, dots

MODIFY: stencilled ‘flower’ not stamped, dots are stenciled and reversed (coloured on white), sentiment is die cut, Christmas card

EXCLUDE: embossing, black mats

SPIN:

My inspiration today is elegant with deep rich colours and playful dots. I am convinced that one of the best skills we can have as card makers is to mix and match products, even between companies. This new little quilt layering stencil set works perfectly with the 8 petal flower from another new layering stencil set. And the dots are classic and work with anything! lol!
