Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!
I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:
LIST: Colours (white, pink, red, blue, green) , Techniques (stamping, die cutting, patterned paper) , Elements (‘quilty’ holiday background, 4 Christmas trees, white die cut Joy sentiment)
INCLUDE: white, pink, red, green, die cutting
MODIFY: stenciled and stamped background, changed blue to Aquatini, one Christmas tree, red shadow under Joy die cut,
EXCLUDE: stamping
SPIN:
I was fascinated by the patterned paper background, and tried to get a similar look with a layering stencil set, 4 colours of ink, and then some stamping with small star and dot stamps. To let the background really be the star, I combined my sentiment and 1 small Christmas tree.
