LIMES - Blue Butterfly

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (black, blue, green, purple) , Techniques (embossing, die cutting) , Elements (dragon fly with colourful wings, sprayed and stamped and embossed background, dark blending around edges)

INCLUDE:‍ blue, green, purple, embossing, die cutting, embossed background

MODIFY: butterfly instead of dragonfly, white instead of black, embossed dots are regular instead of random, brushed gold ink over embossed dots, watercolour background instead of sprays

EXCLUDE: dark blending around edges,

SPIN: square card, gold splatter and accents

There is a series of these moody, beautiful dragonflies in Abigail’s gallery that really grabbed my attention. I created a watercolour background, and kept it a bit lighter with a white border and butterfly.
