I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, black, green, yellow, red, blue) , Techniques (paste with stencil, die cutting, painting) , Elements (tag with colourful starred background, red and white stripes, black circle, Christmas tree with star, multi-word sentiment)

INCLUDE: white, black, green, yellow, red, blue, paste through stencil, die cutting, black circle frame,

MODIFY: sentiment white on black instead of black on white, card instead of tag, simple triangle die cut tree instead of stamped

EXCLUDE: painting, lots of the ‘collage’ elements

SPIN:

I love the collage-style inspiration tag and I tried to capture a similar feel by using paste with a stencil and then watercolour powders over top.
