LIMES - Geo Happy Birthday

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, yellow, orange, blue, gray) , Techniques (die cutting stamping) , Elements (grid of blocks, die cut you, stamped add-on sentiment, gray mat)

INCLUDE:‍ white, yellow, blue, stamping, die cutting, sentiment in lower right portion of panel

MODIFY: 9 grid instead of 6, layered stamping to create a pattern, stamped sentiment circle, less contrast in the colour choices (maybe even more than I intended! lol!)

EXCLUDE: gray mat, die cut sentiment

SPIN: square card, gold doodled dots

I love a grid layout, as you know, and a 3×3 grid fits my square card perfectly. I added some interest to my squares by using a new layering stamp set, although I struggled with these stamps - the ink seemed to bead up, even though I used every stamp conditioning trick I’m aware of. In the end, stamping them multiple (many!) times seemed to do the trick.
